Field Trips
At Montessori Children’s House we value educational experiences outside of the classroom. While we will not take the students off of MCH property, we will bring field trips to our campus. We believe by providing hands-on experiences directly tied to our curriculum, the children will obtain a better understanding and have real life relevance of what they are learning. Field trips allow our children to experience a physical, sensorial, and social benefit to the knowledge they are gaining.
A few examples of our field trips include ballroom dancing lessons, a drum circle experience, a visit by the local fire department, an animated storyteller performance, summer splash days, and a petting zoo. We have field trips sporadically throughout the school year and bi-weekly in the summer months.
