OUr Founder

The heartbeat of our school is Mrs. Effie Saifi, Founder and Director. Mrs. Effie has over 30 years of experience working with children as both a counselor and teacher. She holds a B.A. in Guidance Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and has completed numerous hours of doctoral work. She maintains a traditional teaching certificate along with her AMS Montessori Certification. As a well-respected member of the Montessori community, her commitment to excellence can be seen in everything she does. Montessori Children’s House and the children she serves are truly her pride and joy.

OUR STAFF

Montessori Children’s House is very proud of its professional and experienced faculty of certified Montessori teachers and trained classroom teaching assistants. Each staff member is highly qualified and exhibits superior integrity and upstanding moral fiber. Combined, our Montessori Certified Teachers have over 120 years of experience working with more than 1,300 children!

The community of teachers, faculty, and management truly cares about the social, emotional, and academic development of each student. Continuing education courses, conferences and seminars are critical to the evolving field of education. As such, each teacher at Montessori Children's House is required to maintain a continuing education plan unique to his or her area of concentration.
